We work with school leaders and frontline staff to identify high-pressure administrative and student support workflows, recommend practical improvements or redesign, and determine where AI can safely and effectively add value.
We also design bespoke AI training for staff, tailored to the school’s needs, context, and current level of AI confidence.
Steps in the process
Initial conversation - A short meeting, in person or online, to understand your needs and whether we are the right fit.
Discovery workshop - We meet with school leaders and relevant staff to understand current pressures, priorities, workflows, and how AI is currently being used. No cost until June 2026.
Findings and recommendations - We present what we have found, highlight the workflows creating the most pressure, and recommend which one to examine more closely.
Current workflow mapping - We map how the selected workflow currently works, step by step, including roles, handovers, approvals, delays, and key friction points.
Improvement opportunities - We identify what could be removed, simplified, standardised, combined, or redesigned, and where AI may be able to add value safely and appropriately.
Options for the school - We present practical options to the leadership team and help select the preferred direction.
Future workflow and solution advice - Once a preferred option is chosen, we map the future workflow and advise on suitable solution options, likely costs, and possible next steps.

A word from our principal consultant
As a former educator myself, I understand that schools carry a level of operational complexity that is too often overlooked.
Beyond teaching and learning, schools are now expected to meet expanding demands across compliance, student wellbeing, inclusion, safeguarding, documentation, communication, and accountability, usually with the same staff, the same hours, and the same budgets.
I created RealProcess Consulting to help schools respond to that challenge in a practical, grounded way: by redesigning workflows to reduce administrative burden, and identifying where AI can be used safely and appropriately so staff spend less time on repetitive tasks and more time on work that requires human judgement.

A Discovery Workshop is a structured, facilitated working session with school leaders and relevant staff to understand current pressures, priorities, workflows, and current AI use at a high level. It is used to identify how work is currently getting done, where pressure is building, and what the current reality looks like before any advice or changes are proposed.
What the workshop is for:

testing what type of issue each pain point represents
identifying early improvement opportunities
